God Always Deserves More

Can any of us say that He deserves less? He gave us our very lives. What does He deserve for that incredible gift?

He gives us all of our finances. Ten percent and an occasional gift to demonstrate our love and appreciation for Him and for what He has done are certainly appropriate. Especially when you become aware that He stretches the ninety percent that we don*t give Him farther than we could stretch one hundred percent of it.

He gives us 24 hours per day. He is pleased if we spend a couple of hours a day willingly doing what He wants us to do. And when we give Him a couple of hours of obedience He blesses the other 14 waking hours. If you try giving Him a little more than a couple of hours He will multiply His blessings to you. His blessings won*t necessarily be in giving you more time or money. But He will certainly multiply your joy, peace, satisfaction and fulfillment.

You won*t be able to calculate the Blessings that will come to you if you give Him 16 or even 24 hours a day. If you do the best you can for Him He will do the best He can for you. Your best might not be much but His best is wonderful.

James 1:17: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

1 Timothy 6:17: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Philippians 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalms 16:11: Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

1 Peter 1:2: Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

2 Peter 1:2: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

Psalms 34:8: O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Get to know Him . . . you will love Him. He really just wants you to know Him and the rest will become automatic.

John 17:3: And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
